On April 5th, me, Ben, and the absolute legend Leigh Sizey from Celtic Tribe are bringing the full psychedelic carnival to Hippos in Swansea. The Blast Off Tour is finally landing in Wales. As we were putting the lineup together, we realized we wanted to do something a little bit special for this one.
We left the opening slot completely blank. We want to hand the stage over to you.
Calling All Sonic Alchemists
The UK psychedelic scene is bursting with so much incredible, loving energy right now. We are actively looking to shine a light on fresh, vibrant talent to join the tribe for the night.
But let’s be perfectly clear. Whether you bought your very first controller six months ago, or you’ve been dragging heavy hardware rigs to muddy fields since the 90s—we want to hear from you.
We aren't looking for a specific resume. Old hands and brand new faces are equally welcome here. What actually matters to us is the soul you put into the speakers.
We are opening the floor to all DJs, hardware producers, and hybrid psychedelic live acts.
We don't mind what specific flavor of psychedelia you play.
Bring your synths. Bring your weirdest acoustic instruments. Bring whatever makes your heart beat the hardest. We just want to feel the human element in your music—the passion, the joy, and the creativity.
How to Join the Ritual
The assignment is entirely straightforward. No hoops to jump through.
The Format: DJs, live hardware producers, and hybrid acts of any psychedelic style.
The Submission: Record a mix or a live performance clip.
The Golden Rule: Keep it strictly under 20 minutes.
The Vibe: Pour your absolute heart into it. Give us 20 minutes of pure, authentic energy.
Entries officially close on March 5th. The winner won't just be playing a gig. You will officially join the Celtic Tribe and Cosmic Lama family on stage for the night.
Stop overthinking your transitions. Just hit record, have fun with it, and show us your unique vibration. We honestly cannot wait to listen to what you create.
